Graduate attributes are a set of "core competencies" that the university Graduates must possess. They are the abilities to be looked for in a graduate. They are the outcome of university level learning experience. In fact, they are the skills, personal attributes and values which should be acquired by all graduates regardless of their discipline or field of study. They are often referred to as generic attributes rather than generic skills in recognition that as outcome they encompass more than skills and attributes. They are, to a certain extent, different from employability skills as the graduate attributes would largely take care of employability skills also.
