Theatre
A theatre is a collaborative form of performing art that uses live performers, to present experiences of a real or imagined event before a live audience in a specific place, often a stage. The performers may communicate this experience to the audience through combinations of gesture, speech, song, music, and dance. GRI established open-stage theatres (courtyard theatres) and End-stagetheatres to show the talents of students with combinations of gesture, speech, song, music, and dance.

End-stage theatres
The Multi-purpose Hall & Silver Jubilee Hall are used as end-stage theatres where movies related to awareness and science fiction are shown to the students. The cell for culture and arts uses the same to conduct the drama, cultural and mime etc.

Open stage theatre
The Boys and ladies’ hostels have open stage theatres where in the hostel day programmes, movies and other awareness programmes are conducted.
